kwn - with all due respect

Kwn is a Soulection find for me. I’ve been really feeling UK R&B as of late, so I gave kwn a chance after hearing a couple of tracks.

with all due respect sonically falls somewhere between Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation era slow cuts and the Toronto-based group DVSN. Lyrically, kwn speaks of getting wasted and rough sex. This is music for fuckery, simply put. It has a time and place, and for the most part, I like this album.
