Miguel - CAOS

This is a dark & heavy album. Even the more upbeat tracks have a weight to them. It’s an interesting effect. But, these are kinda dark times too aren’t they? Love feels awfully messy here, definitely toxic. On “Triggered”, Miguel states “love is like a car crash shameless and reckless”, and that defines the mood well here. Sometimes relationships get so deep, we don’t let go when we need to. Not everything is meant to last forever. But, sometimes that’s the best thing we can do.
