Tame Impala - Deadbeat

It feels like Tame Impala have pigeonholed themselves where their strength is their pseudo-club style tracks, which is to say they used to be strong as a damn near psychedelic-rock type of band. They’ve evolved a lot over the years and while I have no problem with bands evolving, this album doesn’t have the same steam as most Tame Impala albums, especially when they veer away from that dance sound. I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it either. It’s fine.
